A fancy ice mold is a simple hosting hack for the holiday season if you’re entertaining a large group and batching drinks in a punch bowl. Here are my DIY tips for making a fancy ice mold this holiday season: 1. Use a bundt cake pan for a your mold. 2. Layer fresh citrus, bright fruits and herbs (I used tangerines, pomegranate slices, whole fresh cranberries and rosemary stems). 3. DO NOT use loose pomegranate seeds as they’ll all sink to the bottom and you won’t be able to see them. Slice the pomegranates into circles instead. 4. Use distilled water for clearer ice. 5. When ready to use, gently lower into a bowl of warm water to loosen the mold. I topped this mold with a simple sparkling punch of non-alcoholic wine and cranberry rosemary syrup.
