This superbly-designed Countertop Vacuum Sealer from VacMaster (model VP320) has a long 16-inch seal bar, a large vacuum chamber (16.75 wide by 18 long x 7 deep) and above all a powerful vacuum pump of 1.5 Hp. The commercial capacity of this machine makes it an ideal choice for larger food service businesses, and it's perfect for pre-made meals, portion control, sauces & stocks and all sorts of perishable as well as non-food items. Chamber vacuum machines use less-expensive bags than external vacuum sealers, and the Vp 320 comes with an assortment pack of 100 with purchase; it's often wise to use up your included pouches and see what you use the most of before reordering. The largest bag that can be sealed by this machine measures 16 x 20. Chamber machines are essential if you want to vacuum-seal messy, liquid-rich foods like soups, gravies or stews (external sealers have the bad habit of sucking the liquid out of the bag along with the air. Plastic filler plates are included and these items simply take up space in the chamber when you're sealing items that don't take up too much space; with less air to suck out the vacuum pump has an easier job of it and will therefore last longer.
