Cast iron is a material that retains heat very well and can therefore become very hot. Valhal Outdoor has developed the VH.SLEEVE to make it a little easier to cook with your cast iron skillets with handle, without detracting from its tough character. A real leather cover for the handle of your skillet. It fits around Valhal Outdoor’s skillets with handle, but actually around any skillet handle with similar dimensions. After cooking, slide the VH.SLEEVE easily over the handle of your pan so that you can easily move it around. Although it is not the intention to leave the sleeve in place during cooking with or in high temperatures, you can leave it in place during storage. There is a hole in the VH.SLEEVE so that you can still easily hang up your skillet and don’t lose your sleeve! Because the VH.SLEEVE is made of real leather, you can take care of it by greasing it from time to time. You can use the VH.WAX for this, for example. By using and greasing the VH.SLEEVE, it does slightly darker in colour, but as with all leather products, this only adds character.
