It all began with the sauce. For thirty years we've been making our Original sauce for friends and family to enjoy. While preparing for a catered event in the late 1980's, one of our employees proclaimed it the most bitchin' sauce she'd ever tasted. Our name was born.

In July of 2011 we began selling the sauce at Farmer's Markets, retail outlets and literally out of the trunk of our cars. As we talked about opening a restaurant to showcase our talents, we chose downtown Dodgeville to extend the story. Bob's Bitchin' BBQ: The Restaurant opened in November 2012. All of our BBQ is slowly smoked featuring our dry rub. We will serve it to you wet or dry. Wet will allow the sauce to caramelize over heat in our kitchen, while serving it to you dry will allow you to experiment with our seven sauces tableside. We don't believe in cutting corners, so the food you enjoy in our restaurant is made from scratch in our kitchen. We source locally whenever possible and we want your visit to be a satisfying and fun experience that will keep you coming back for more. When you're finished, don't forget to take some sauce home with you!
