We designed this to screw in like the lid, but left a gap between the top of the tumbler and the adapter so you can easily tape it to protect from epoxy. No slippage. I created and custom designed these spiral 3D printed hub inserts. Our combo hubs feature: • Longer stems for ease of handling, • Sturdy stems • Lightweight, stylish, yet sturdy spiral design, • Imprinted sizes on the base, • No foam strips to maintain or replace, ever! • Signature mint/turquoise hubs with black/gray accents (Substitutions in color may be made if color runs out of stock from filament manufacturer). These have been tested to last! They passed extensive testing such as vigorous shaking by hand, gravity-tested by holding upside down, and spinning on our turner for days on end without dropping.
